Another of my very old (20 years -- gah, I'm old!) winged wolf pictures. Scanned from a slide, so I apologize for the poor quality of the scan.

This one has particularly fond memories as it was purchased by Pat Wrede. Acrylic, which I should really do something with again, one of these days...

To me, wolves do not look right with wings. They never have in my eyes, as I see the graceful creatures lacking in the need to travel in the air, and believe they'd be greatly hindered with wings on the ground.

You, however, can pull it off. I have never seen a picture where a wolf with those two extra limbs looks so natural, so comfortable with them. I like it. I've got a new way to view them, now that I've seen your picture. It's awesome.

You are a great artist! I have never seen winged wolves look so natural,so bold,nobel,beutiful,the way you made them look like great hunters is awesome! What did you use? I can draw fantasy creaters and wolves,but not like you. You awesome2
