| 9 Dec 2003 | 'Princess Jasmine' Washington | Loading...Don't worry about the rocks, it looks like a foggy night. Though that might be your attempt to hide the bad rocks, it works. I like her. She looks a little short, maybe she's leaning forward. (Sorry, my depth perception is a little off.) But she is wonderful. I like the way you blending human and dragon. Haven't seen it done this way before. | |
| 10 Dec 2003 | Mackenzie Taylor | Loading...Wooahh...I thought when I saw this in black and white that itd be better that way but now i see the color...it looks sooo good!!! And the rocks do look like real rocks, dont put urself down! They just dont fit the picture as well cuz they are softly colored. They look great just maybe give them some definite lines and theyll be perfecto!!! | |
| 10 Dec 2003 | Alicia E. Alfaro | Loading...She looks very Japanese. I love the whole glowy feel of it all and the pose is so good. This is so awesome, are you a professional artist? I'm thinking about what I should do when I get in college(which will be soon), I really love art but I don't know if I'm good enough. I know you are definately good enough. Hey, I don't think the rocks in this pic are so bad...They're kinda hiding in the shadows there. ^_^ *looks up* tsk tsk tsk... Is that all Anonymous ever thinks about? Katherine J. Grantham replies: "Thanks for the lovely comments on my dragon lady! Am I a professional artist? Well, I occasionally sell originals and do some freelance health-related art, so if professional means "getting paid to do art," yes. However, I do not make my living doing it -- it's strictly a hobby, so in that regard I'm not professional. I was always afraid making art my job would turn it from fun to work, but there's people who do it successfully and have fun, so go for your dream!" | |

| 28 Mar 2004 | Gus Borden | Loading...Ok, the rock thingie -- you are totally in the right direction -- they look like a good start... just try to work in some darker, harder edges so they have some stronger structure., if you frame them out a bit (and you don't even really need to bother with the filters to do it) it would help them out alot. and of course he has big boobs, she's half-dragon, she has to... kind of. you really do have a great color sense. | |
| 30 Mar 2004 | Terra_Serpent_Master | Loading...I say, good job! It reminds me of my character: Long black hair, hazel green eyes, serpent master (cant you tell by my name) and uses a long reach weapon of some sort, usually a double ended glaive. Yeah... Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |
| 18 Aug 2004 | Charles A. Peterson | Loading...Sadly, I have to agree with the artist about the rocks.
It is about the only negative thing here though and it isn't major. I love the composition and the use of the tail.
Very nice work. | |
