They gather in the long polar nights to sing beneath the sunless sky, their breath and song rising and gathering power until it burns in shimmering curtains of fire. The stars, lured by their song, fall to lie in glittering drifts at their feet.

Beware the Boreal Pack.

An ink drawing, heavily and gaudily tweaked in Photoshop for the purpose of getting my nice wolvies into the woods.

wow I like it! But um, why are the wolves green?

:-) Katherine J. Grantham replies: "Because they're fantasy wolves. *laughs* I couldn't get the plain ink drawing into Lothlorien because they were merely "real" wolves. NINK!"

Wow i love this picture! Would you mind of i sent it to my friend who is a majorly expressive wolf-fanatic?

:-) Katherine J. Grantham replies: "That would be OK. Just ask her not to post it anywhere or otherwise use it without checking with me first. I'm pretty cool about that as long as I know about it."
